Thailand NRCA Conducts Custom CA In-house Onboarding Training and Authorizes Turnkey Communication Services Public Company Limited (ThaiCA) as Sub CA under the National Root Certification Authority of Thailand: Thailand NRCA

Recently, the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), through the National Root Certification Authority of Thailand (Thailand NRCA), organized a hands-on training course titled "Custom CA In-house Onboarding Training Course" for two digital certificate service providers: - Thai Digital ID Company Limited – June 11, 2025 - Turnkey Communication Services Public Company Limited – June 17-18, 2025. The training aimed to enhance understanding and develop essential skills for becoming a Subordinate Certification Authority (Sub CA). Key topics included system logging and access control management, which are crucial for incident investigation; trusted roles and responsibilities in certificate issuance; and the legal implications and penalties under Thai law. The training was conducted in accordance with international standards and Thailand NRCA’s policies and practices, aimed at strengthening digital transaction security and trust nationwide.

Additionally, Thailand NRCA officially authorized Turnkey Communication Services Public Company Limited as a digital certificate service provider, following a successful WebTrust audit. This certification represents a significant milestone in advancing Thailand’s digital infrastructure and supporting the sustainable growth of the digital economy.
